LEADERSHIP
AUDITS
The
School for Hospitality Leadership is available to work with
companies and organisations to undertake audits of their existing
leadership effectiveness and to make recommendations to address any
identified shortcomings. We would initailly discuss what the
organisation sees as its leadership challenges and then construct a
proposal to assess and address them. The resulting project
could be designed along the following lines.
Leaders would initially be
invited to undertake a self-evaluation of their leadership skills
by completing The Big Jigsaw
Puzzle®, that will measure their performance under the
six standards of The
Leadership Jigsaw®, namely:

visionary

The Leader sets an
example
-
The Leader build supportive
relationships
-
The Leader understands what
motivates each team member

The Leader empowers others to
reach their potential

The Leader understands the power
of communications
Staff members could then be
invited to assess their leaders using the staff version of The Big
jigsaw Puzzle® as a means of comparing their measurement of
their manager's leadership skills with his or her own - very
illuminating! Based on these findings and other means of
information gathering, such as individual interviews and group
meetings, we would present our findings and make appropriate
recommendations.
